Description

A mass grave with a tombstone is erected close to the homestead of Jonathan Naunyango. It is fenced off with one entrance.

Brief History

On 01 april 1989 some members of PLAN gathered at Ondeshifiilwa village to get information on which beacons they should gather and hand in their waepons. Unfortunately the SA army misinterpreted their gathering as hostile and attacked them. It is believed that 22 PLAN fighters were brutally killed and were later buried in a mass grave at Ondeshifiilwa.
